Dennis Hoban - Author of the "NO MORE 11.4" movement
When the current Town Board, led by Supervisor Brian Kulpa and Deputy Supervisor Shawn Lavin, announced a property tax increase of 11.4% two days AFTER the election - Dennis Hoban began to take action. He made up signs, sought the views of many Amherst residents, and became a regular participant at town board meetings.
Per Mr. Hoban, "It did not take long for me to see that Amherst residents are being saddled with steadily increasing debt for unneeded development projects while our town's infrastructure is neglected and services continue to erode in quality and efficiency."
It is time to make a change this November!
It is time to demand that our elected representatives be fiscally responsible to Amherst taxpayers.
